Urban and spatial economics, market integration, and trade.

I study how market access and integration shape regional economies, using quantitative spatial equilibrium models. Before starting my doctorate, I spent three years at the World Bank's Trade and International Integration unit, and I hold dual M.A. degrees in Economics and Public Policy from Universidad de los Andes.
